Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way for people to gain and develop skills, knowledge and experience. Volunteers are welcomed and valued in every Ontario community.

Become an Elementary School Milk Program (ESMP) Volunteer

As an ESMP volunteer or milk coordinator, you can ensure children are getting a serving of milk at school by helping to place orders, supervise milk delivery, keep track of collections and payments, and organize program events. It’s a great way to get involved in the school and community.

Become an ESMP volunteer at your child’s school. There are lots of ways you can volunteer and get involved. It doesn’t need to be a big time commitment, just give as much time as you are able and share the workload with other parents..

Anyone can be a milk volunteer!

Milk volunteers can be anyone such as a parent, grandparent, guardian, teacher or staff member who value healthy nutritious meals as building blocks to success. Of course, an interest in supporting the growth and development of students is a must!

Milk volunteers help:

  • Provide nutritious meals to students across Ontario

  • Offer milk to less-privileged students through the Breakfast Rebate program

  • Connect Dairy Farmers of Ontario to their local communities

The Ontario School Milk Program is launching a subscriber exclusive contest to celebrate school communities and milk. Subscribe to our newsletter for your invitation to enter!
